This was a much needed getaway for my husband and kids! The house was in the perfect spot in between Morro Bay and Cayucos. The bedrooms were spacious and having upstairs and down was very nice! The outside of the home needed a bit of landscaping but the inside was top notch. We enjoyed the local art and beach vibe.

I’m very glad there was a cancellation and we were able to rent this dog friendly house. The furnishings were very comfortable. The master bed was extremely soft and big fluffy pillows. I loved how it was decorated with tons of unique textiles and glass art. I am a quilter and appreciated the decor. I am also an avid gardener and thought there should have been a little extra effort in the front yard on gardening. The deck was very old and my husband was uncomfortable with us all being out side on the deck when using the BBQ (which is on its last leg, although most vacation rentals we have stayed out the BBQ is in need of replacement). You really never know until you get there on exactly what you should have brought. Some rentals provide shampoo etc. and some do not. Heads up; this one does not provide shampoo, soap, paper products such paper towels, or napkins. So, bring your own T.P. There is a market right down the street, in walking distances, but you might not want to gamble on the essentials. It was comfortable; a fun time was had by all. The staff was very nice to deal with but if you don’t want to have to call several times, find out the following before you go: What the code is to retrieve the keys and the amount of the check or cashiers check you need to drop off at the rental agencies and find out what the code is to turn off the alarm to the house upon arrival. Don’t forget to checkout the sea otters at the base of the rock and enjoy Morro Bay.

Home was everything we expected and more. Very large living room with plenty of furniture to choose from. One guest slept on a chaise lounge there, which ws very comfortable. The master suite is huge. And it had a nice deck. All very cleans, and linens provided. Rental staff couldn't have been friendlier.

Nice house with a view of Morro Rock and peek of the ocean. I'll be a bit more descriptive here since, at the time I rented, there was little description of this house.
There's a 1 bedroom and 1 office with a pull out bed downstairs along with a bathroom. Washer and dryer are in the garage. Upstairs is the main living room, kitchen, dining room (all 1 great room), deck, master bedroom, and 1 1/2 bathrooms. The living room is bright and airy with nice views, seating for 5, ceiling fan, cable TV and internet. The kitchen was fully furnished with lots of plates, utensils, pots and pans. Lots of extra towels, linens, and pillows.
We appreciated this house was dog friendly with a fenced yard. Dog beach was just 1 mile up Route 1. It is a short walk to the market and a couple of restaurants. It's a short drive to downtown Morro Bay. The wild turkeys walked along Elena Street almost every day we were there.
The only thing we were unhappy about was the condition of the master room bed. It was so soft, lumpy, uncomfortable, and bad for both of our backs having no support whatsoever. We'd love to return again and again if they change the upstairs bed. The neighborhood felt safe and family-friendly.
Recommendations/highlights of the area: Taco Temple Restaurant and Bottle Liquor Deli. SLO Sunset Drive-In that is dog-friendly. Dog Beach 1 mile away.
