  Grat location! Walk across the street and down the stairs and you are on the beach. The furniture was a bit worn and could be replaced, but if you are looking for a place to relax and get away with your dog this is the place for you.

  Our weekend at this house was perfect! The upstairs "suite" was more than we could have imagined. Everything was totally spotless and in wonderful condition. Both of our families had plenty of room and the dogs enjoyed their backyard area as well! Thanks for the use of this wonderful home!

  We really loved our stay in Cayucos. The weather was great. It was really good to get out of the 100 degree central valley. The kids had a great time playing on the beach, flying kites, building sand castles, playing volleyball with some new found frieds
  on the beach and getting buried in the sand. The nights were really great, listening to the waves as you fall asleep is the greatest. There was very little traffic to complain about. I want to send a shout out to Spencers Market on Highway 1 outside of Morro.
  They saved us alot of money. Don't go to Albertson, really expensive. Anyway, Plan to come out again probably in a couple of months again. The kids can't stop talking about their weekend.

  Overall, it was a wonderful stay. The location was great and the kitchen and downstairs bathroom were spaciaous and well done. My only suggestion is to replace the couches in the upper living area, which are pretty old and smelled musty.

  We found the cottage very well designed for family living. The kitchen was well equipted and large enough for everyone to hang out. The upstairs views were really excellent and the ease of the beach access was fabulous. We spend just about every afternoon
  down there with my grandson. I really appreciated the calmm and beauty of the backyard and the fact that the house was pet friendly. My little cocker loves a visit to the beach and the chance to chase waves.

  This property is steps to the beach, and the upstairs bedroom has outstanding views of the ocean (even though the property is not oceanfront.) The furniture is dated and worn, and the carpet is stained. The kitchen and baths were very clean. Recommend bringing extra sheets to toss over the couches, given their condition. The upstairs queen bed is comfortable--didn't try the downstairs double. This a great place to stay with dogs. The backyard is cute and fairly private even though it abuts Highway 1 (thus, there is some noise). The yard is not designed to leave dogs unattended in, even for a short period. The dishes and glasses are in somewhat short supply--fine for 2 people, maybe not enough for a party of 4-5. We had a great time and would stay again.

  I loved this house!! I was able to chaperone my daughter and her friends without being seen!! LOL The bedroom upstairs with it's own tv room gave me my privacy and gave them theirs!! Very nice week!!!

  Loved the large bathroom, with a spacious shower and a bench to sit on. The location, though a mile from downtown Cayucos, has excellent from a beach-access/view perspective. My 2 complaints (minor): the phone system didn't work and I didn't care for Charter Cable's klugey cable service. But otherwise I loved the house and would return if by myself again (my wife and I are tall and need a king size bed when we're together). By the way, I from Camarillo.

  House was great. The upstairs sitting room is where we hung out the most.We like to sit around and watch movies and there was enough seating for everyone.

  Overall we highly recommend this rental. Love, love, loved the fact that the beach was literally right across the street. The house is west of PCH which is the only way to go-on the beach would be the best but much more $$$! Downstairs bathroom was quite a nice addition. The only recommendations we have are: Since the furnture is quite "lived-on" it could use a once a year deep cleaning or slip covers that can be washed more frequently. Pull the "well lived on" carpet out and lay the "faux" wood linoleum. It looks good and makes clean up even easier. Windows should be cleaned regularly since the view from upstairs is quite lovely and there is no balcony for straight away ocean viewing. Great place for the price AND we could bring Lucy! Paso/Templeton/Arroyo wineries are very dog friendly and close for day trips.
  We loved our trip and appreciate folks renting out their vacation homes. Thank you.

  Home was very nice.. a welcome booklet would be nice with how to use the internet and fireplace stove.A few larger cooking pot and casseroles would be nice too.We'd love to live there all year!
