We stayed a full week in this wonderful house. Conveniently located, great location! We loved waking up to turkeys every morning and often deer would be outside our window. We stayed in this house several times; it is very clean and very well maintained. Location is very good too, it is close to everything. You can just walk to the ocean through the beautiful Strawberry canyon, observing the wild life on a way. The house has everything you need, and is very comfortable for a couple. It also has a large deck ant it is very nice to relax on in the evening watching wild turkeys walking around.

This cabin was an amazing find for our family vacation. The house is clean, well stocked with everything you need, and in the perfect location. We loved seeing all the wildlife while relaxing on the balcony. The house is close to downtown, the beach, and some hiking trails. My family loved it so much, they want to make this a regular trip! We had a lovely time in Cambria. One thing to note the cell service in and around the area is spotty and the wifi at the house was not robust. However, for a little getaway it was absolutely perfect. The property plus the peace and quiet were excellent. I would like to mention that I noticed there are a few boards on the deck that seemed unstable upon stepping on them. Kinda giving way more than I thought they should have. You might want to send a carpenter to investigate. You know, "a stitch in time ..... "
Additionally, please inform the owners the DVD player needs cleaning as it took some fiddling to get it to work.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Cambria in no small part to how comfortable we were at 1961 Burton. The house was comfortable and clean and close to the ocean and town. The neighborhood is very pretty in the woods and very quiet. The appliances in the house are dated but everything worked well and the queen bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The wifi worked well and we had no problems with internet connections. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen.
We would definitely return to Cambria and this property. This was one of our favorite vacations.

Indeed, our stay was great.
If memory serves, this is the second time I've rented this location. The house is clean and noticeably updated. (updated bathroom, toilet and shower) The location is clean, (cleaner than most rentals so high marks for that) quiet, close to town and the beaches. Excellent.
One thing I would like to mention though. It would be a nice perk if the owners would replace the DVD player in the living room.
Initially, after struggling a bit with two remotes I discovered it was not connected. Upon making the proper connection (an HDMI cable lying behind the monitor) we were able to use the unit but discovered it intermittently skips and stops. I tried the cleaning disc however it didn't solve the problem. These devices are ultra cheap these days.
No question, this has become my "go to" rental home in Cambria.

This is the second time we rented this house and we will rent it again. It is not a fancy place, which is what we like, as we aren't fancy people. This house is a cozy, comfortable place to shed the debris of the rat race. It is well stocked – kitchen, linens and supplies (but bring your own soap for the shower) and has a feeling that the owners want you to enjoy your stay. We really feel welcome there. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet and it is an easy, short drive to town or the ocean. The price is very reasonable and the management company couldn't be more accommodating. It is just right for us.

We were very happy with what we got for the money. Some would say the décor is somewhat outdated, but I don't care about things like that. The place was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It's within a 2-minute drive to shops and restaurants, and also 2 minutes from the parking area for a beautiful walk along the seashore with spectacular views. You may be able to get a nicer place for more money, but for the price we were very satisfied.
